Bandle City

Bandle City came to LoR introducing this whole new kind, the Yordles. Yordles are these fluffy cute individuals that, with the right amount of magic, will change the meta forever.

We planned this campaign in 3 sets as we had too much content to deploy at once to players, we want to make sure they would be able to enjoy the experience and not be overwhelmed by all at once.

Therefore, we have Beyond the Bandlewood, Magic Misadventures and A Curious Journey, these are the names of the three separated expansions.

The Kick-off

To kick-off the campaign we FINALLY showed to players that our brand was planned since 4 years ago. Each letter of LoR represented one of the regions that we had. We never announced this and let players talk around the years. The letter N was always cryptic, so we finally revealed the region using all the letters in a retrospective of all these years of LoR.

Keyart

Each expansion had their own keyart to help differentiate themselves as well as introduce the main characters to players.

Beyond the Bandlewood

To start telling this story we took Ava, our main character, across Runeterra to collect all the items needed to make a huge party in Bandle City. And off she goes.

Magic Misadventures

Ava is a good heart Yordle that only means well and sometimes she needed help to get to the end of her mission.

A Curious Journey

On the last step of her journey, she had to face a real beast! Just to realize he was actually… a friend! The party is set and the Yordles are having a blast with players.

Champion Reveals

Revealing new champions to players is special. Players that know they exist within the IP are expecting their favorite into Legends of Runeterra. This expansion in specific we had more than the usual number of champion reveals.

On top of exciting players, these videos play a bigger role when explaining the mechanics of these new character and how they will affect the current meta.
