We wanted to create something mischievous, where I could see the initials of my name as main characters.
We also wanted to create something that was ingrained into gamers mindset. After months of research, we noticed that gamers rarely shared their real names, always using a code name.
We then went back in human history to find what was the first form of dual personality and that happened to be represented by Masks.
A Mask was already a good match, but we still wanted the M and the D as part of the logo/symbol, forming somehow a Mask.
We wanted to keep the broadcast channel clean, but also providing relevant information to the viewers and rewarding who supports the channel.
We also created few characters that appear on the stream when convenient. Sportscaster is the most famous characters of all, making viewers spit their coffee when they see him.
When producing this trailer, we wanted to create something eye-catching. By finding the perfect match between the music beat with shots and funny bloopers, we were able to achieve that.
Get your headphones, sit back and let the show begin. Enjoy.
When producing the motion graphics, we wanted something that was fresh and at the same time mysterious. We went towards smoke particles and left-right slide in/out.
In a live environment, it's essential to automate several tasks. From follower notification to scene swaps, the whole Open Broadcast Software is rigged with coding.
Using HTML/CSS and Javascript with minimal PHP to control the back end, we developed a pristine engineered system where everything works in harmony.
We attended several gaming events on the past year. E3, Twitch Con, Guardian Con, PAX East and the Destiny 2 Reveal.
If you got here you must be wondering who was "We" as I mentioned before.
I created a new approach on the work approval. I showed my community and asked what they think as they were the ones consuming the content, creating the "We".
As of who created all of this, there is only one Designer/Motion Graphic/Video Editor/Coder/Producer/Retailer/Art Director/Creative Director/Broadcaster and that is me. #FeelsGoodMan
